Dr. Donald Warne visited the undergraduate Public Health Program at Fort Lewis College in Durango Colorado on Friday October 9.  We are developing a pipeline between the program at Fort Lewis and the Master of Public Health at NDSU—exciting development for NDSU!

NDSU Department of Public Health Chair Dr. Donald Warne is now a Member of the Health Disparities Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee to the Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  This is great news for our Department!

Dr. Warne met with Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz


Last Friday I was able to meet with Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee along with a group of American Indian stakeholders and tribal leaders.  The DNC is committed to ensuring that voices of American Indians and Alaska Natives are heard in campaign efforts.  We discussed issues related to voter access and health care.
