Women's Health Week
Dr Warne presented at the National Institutes of Health as part of Women's Health Week. On May 15, he provided the Keynote Address at the Pocahontas Memorial Research Symposium, and on May 16, he presented on a panel at the C. Everett Koop Memorial NIH Research Symposium on Women's Health. Dr Warne is the Mary J. Berg Distinguished Professor of Women's Health. The NDSU MPH Program is well-represented this week!

Traditional Healers Panel
On May 2, the American Indian Public Health track of the MPH Program was honored to host a Traditional Healers Panel as part of Donna Grandbois' class Cultural Competence in American Indian Health. The Traditional Healers included (seated) Rick Two Dogs (Oglala Lakota and Dr Warne's uncle), Francis Country (Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate), and Willard Yellow Bird (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation). Standing are MPH Program Director Donald Warne and MPH students Melissa Olson, Nicki Cain, and Saurav Dahal. Approximately 25 community members from Fargo-Moorhead attended as well.

Great opportunities for the MPH Program!
We met with representatives of Kagoshima University from Japan to discuss student exchange opportunities, collaborative research and university partnerships.
