Oral oncology medications have been stifled by high copays for cancer patients. After a hard battle fought by numerous patient organizations and partners the Oral Oncology Parity Act has passed and new legislation will take effect August 1, 2015. North Dakota became the 38th state with the District of Columbia to enact such legislation.

Busy week! Dr.
Warne presented yesterday at Harvard School of Public Health on American Indian
Health Policy. Today he is in Atlanta
for the American Cancer Society Board of Directors meeting, and tomorrow he
meets with South Dakota Governor Dennis Dugaard in Pierre, SD to present the
results of the South Dakota Health Survey.
Dr. Warne is the Co-Principal Investigator for the SDHS!
