Dr. Warne to lead the Grand Challenge Initiative at NDSU


New research initiative aims to solve large-scale public health problems


"The NDSU Grand Challenge Initiative was developed to solve complex and evolving global issues with collaborative, interdisciplinary research. Dr. Donald Warne will lead a group of NDSU researchers to find solutions to local and global population health problems."

Dr. Donald Warne presenting the keynote address "Expanding Opportunities for Community Health Workers in American Indian Health" at the Community Health Representative Policy Conference in Flagstaff, AZ on September 29, 2016.  The event was attended by 100 participants from several states and tribal communities.

National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services for the Health Resources and Services Administration

Dr. Warne serves on the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services for the Health Resources and Services Administration. They held their quarterly meeting in Albuquerque last week.





Dr. Warne with Dr. Octavio Martinez, MD, MPH, MBA, Director of the Hogg Behavioral Health Foundation in Texas.  Drs. Warne and Martinez both serve on the NACRHHS and both attended Harvard School of Public Health in 2001-2002.
